Invergordon 50 Years Old 1976 50th Anniversary Kirsch Import Thompson Bros. Cask Nr.2 & 3 is a Highland Single Grain from Invergordon Distillery, filled on 29 April 1976 and matured for 50 years in barrels, bottled by Thompson Bros. of Dornoch at 42.3% ABV from Cask Nr.2 & 3. Selected by Christoph Kirsch and the Thompson Bros. team, it marks the 10th anniversary of Thompson Bros. and the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import, in an edition of 575 bottles. Fine honey, soft caramel and vanilla meet roasted nuts and a lively hint of citrus on the nose; the full palate brings butter biscuit and creamy vanilla with caramel and a subtle oak spice, and the finish moves from sweetness to dry, spicy oak and fine tobacco.
