The Hibiki 30 Years “Senju” (2025) is an ultra-limited edition from Suntory — a 43% ABV Japanese blend released in just 100 bottles worldwide. This exquisite edition merges Hibiki’s signature harmony with an original commission by artist Hiroshi Senju. The whisky opens with an old-world aromatic palette of leather, raisin, prune, and chestnut, leading into rich flavors of brown sugar, dried fig, apricot jam, cedar, and gingerbread, before finishing with cinnamon and Mizunara oak. Senju’s ‘Waterfall on Colors Hibiki’ artwork, crafted from crushed oyster shells and mineral pigments in ten natural shades of purple, adorns the bottle, which is presented in a byōbu-style stand with a reflective base and waterfall motif. The result is not just a whisky, but a collectible fusion of art, architecture, and Japanese craftsmanship — a sensory and visual landmark for collectors and whisky connoisseurs alike.
