Glen Scotia 11 Years Old 2015 Classic Series Cask Nr.21/79-1

Description

Glen Scotia 11 Years Old 2015 Classic Series Cask Nr.21/79-1 is an unpeated Campbeltown single malt, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026, from the third of three single casks in the Classic Series 2nd Unveiling of the Behind the Blue Doors of Campbeltown range, finished for five years in a first fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead. Dark rum soaked figs and sticky cola cubes on the nose give way to syrupy, stewed black plums; on the palate, earthy dark chocolate and bitter walnuts are balanced with sticky gingerbread, cinnamon and clove. It is bottled at natural cask strength of 54% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and limited to 276 bottles.
