The Glasgow 1770 Passito di Caluso Cask Finish is a smoky five year old small batch release that explores the meeting point between peated malt and sweet Italian dessert wine casks. It began in first fill Wild Turkey ex Bourbon barrels before moving into Passito di Caluso hogsheads, where the whisky picked up a rich combination of dried fruit, caramelised sweetness and savoury depth. Bottled at a powerful 57.8% ABV, this is the boldest of the trio, offering a distinctive balance of maritime smoke, sweet fruit richness and spice that gives it real standout character.
