The Glasgow 1770 Amarone Cask Finish is a six year old limited release that pairs the distillery’s fruity unpeated spirit with the richness of Italian Amarone wine casks. After five years in first fill ex Bourbon barrels, it was transferred into Amarone barriques for nearly two more years, building a profile full of red berries, dark cherry, vanilla and soft spice. Bottled at 53% ABV from just three casks, this expression combines depth and polish in a way that makes it especially attractive for drinkers who enjoy wine influenced single malts.
