Description

Frapin 35 Years Old 1990 The Auld & The Bold Berry Bros & Rudd Cask Nr.1 is a Grande Champagne cognac from the Frapin family, distilled in 1990, matured for 35 years in a single Limousin oak barrique, bottled at 44.0% ABV by Berry Bros & Rudd for their The Auld & The Bold series. The nose offers stone fruit, orange peel, crème brûlée sweetness, and vanilla, while the palate layers ripe plums, caramelized apple, ginger, nutmeg, and elegant wood, leading to a finish of spiced apple and soft oak with lingering warmth. Bottled without chill filtration or added color, this single cask release is limited to 199 bottles worldwide, having been distilled in France and matured to completion in the United Kingdom. The result is an unfiltered, single cask Grande Champagne cognac that balances rich fruit with gentle oak seasoning.
