Four Roses Experimental Series No. 003 Chestnut 38cl

Description

Four Roses Experimental Series No. 003 Chestnut 38cl is the third release in the Four Roses Experimental Series, a six year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the OBSK recipe finished in chestnut wood barrels of varying toast and char. Each barrel was tasted throughout the finish and emptied individually after five to eleven weeks, and the result, bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof) in 38cl, brings soft vanilla, baking spice, delicate fruit and brown sugar over sweet toasted wood. Master Distiller Brent Elliott chose chestnut after trials with several wood species, and the distillery presents it as the final experimental release of 2026.
