Dalmore Cask Curation Series The Madeira Cask Edition consists of three single malts: a 30 Year Old 2010 Terrantez Madeira Cask Finish (48.3% ABV, 700ml), a 34 Year Old 2018 Bual Madeira Cask Finish (44.5% ABV, 700ml), and a 45 Year Old 2012 Malvasia Madeira Cask Finish (40.7% ABV, 700ml). The 30 Year Old opens with orange blossom, citrus zest, hazelnut and exotic spice on the nose, moves into stone fruit, caramelised orange peel and toasted walnut on the palate, and closes on dried apricot, caramel, sweet oak and allspice. The 34 Year Old carries dried fig, stone fruit, vanilla toffee and cardamom on the nose, Seville orange, peach, Manuka honey and nutmeg on the palate, and dried fruit, toffee, sweet oak and patisserie spice on the finish. The 45 Year Old shows dates, stewed fruit, toffee and stem ginger on the nose, golden syrup, dried fruit, chocolate orange and walnut on the palate, and spiced orange, toffee, sweet malt and crystallised ginger on the finish.
