Convalmore 41 Years Old 1984 Rare Series is a Speyside single malt from a ghost distillery in Dufftown, distilled in 1984, filled into oak just before the distillery closed in 1985, and bottled in 2026 for Diageo's Rare Series. Matured in refill American oak hogsheads, it is bottled at 45.6% ABV and limited to 310 bottles. Orange juice develops into papaya, mango and unripe banana before turning drier and dustier; the creamy palate brings salted toffee, spun honey and a trace of honeycomb, and the finish is long and peppery with an almost perfumed aftertaste.
