Chichibu Ichiro's Malt & Grain Signature Series Ume Drift Spirits of Salud Cask Nr. B0073 is a cask strength Japanese whisky from Chichibu Distillery, matured in a Koshu white wine cask and selected by master blender Ichiro Akuto. Bottled at 61.2% ABV in a 700ml bottle, limited to 271 bottles, it opens with smoke, citrus, stone fruit and subtle spice on the nose, moves into a balance of smoky and fruit-forward notes on the palate, and closes on a medium-length, slightly peppery finish with subtle bitterness. Part of the Signature Series by Spirits of Salud, inspired by the Japanese ume blossom.
