The Bowmore 21 Years Old 15th Anniversary Sansibar Whisky Cask Nr.5944 is a single cask, single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, bottled at cask strength of 50.5% ABV by independent bottler Sansibar Whisky for its 15th anniversary, matured in a first fill bourbon barrel. The nose offers medicinal seaweed, sugared vanilla, white nougat, and orchard fruits, while the palate brings lively peat, tropical fruit, passion fruit, and fine salinity, leading to a finish of menthol peat, salty sweetness, and a hint of waffle. Only 288 bottles were produced. This is a maritime, peated, fruit forward anniversary dram.
