Tobermory Distillery has announced the release of the Tobermory 27-Year-Old, the fifth and final offering in their highly celebrated Hebridean Series. Limited to just 2,857 bottles globally and priced at approximately €470 (or £395), this exclusive release promises to leave a lasting impression on collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.

The maturation process has played a crucial role in developing the whisky's character. Completed with an impressive 53.1% ABV, this expression reveals a rich flavor profile combining signature notes of pineapple, toffee caramel, and indulgent layers of marmalade, cinnamon spice, and dried fruits like figs and blackcurrants. The palate is enveloped in a delightful blend of honey-roasted nuts and a hint of treacle toffee.

Julieann Fernandez, Master Blender at Tobermory, shared her excitement about the project, stating, "Each expression in the series offers a unique balance of spice, oak, and rich flavor, shaped by time and the wonderfully unpredictable nature of maturation.” This final chapter in the Hebridean Series encapsulates the distillery's heritage and dedication to artisanal whisky craftsmanship.
