These ultra-premium Highland single malts showcase decades of sherry cask maturation, epitomizing nearly two centuries of craftsmanship in the Valley of Forgue. The releases highlight the distillery’s mastery in combining depth, balance, and complexity to satisfy collectors and connoisseurs alike.

Design & Presentation

The The Glendronach 30 Years Old Brown-Forman Germany is presented in a stained walnut veneer box engraved with 30 facets, a tribute to its three decades of aging. In contrast, the The Glendronach 40 Years Old Brown-Forman Germany comes in a dark-stained rosewood box featuring brass-colored handles and a gold-toned base, underscoring its status as the pinnacle of The Glendronach’s sherry cask aging artistry.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The 30 Year Old matures in a rare combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Amontillado sherry casks, creating a symphony of dark fruits, fine spices, and nutty nuances with a full-bodied texture. The 40 Year Old spends over four decades in the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks from Jerez, delivering remarkable aromatic intensity, a silky texture, and extraordinary depth.

Release & Availability

Both releases will debut exclusively in Germany at an event on November 13 and at InterWhisky Wiesbaden from November 14 to 16, 2025. Following the launch, The Glendronach 30 Years Old Brown-Forman Germany (46.8% ABV, 0.7 L) will be available from selected specialist retailers and Spiritory at an RRP of €1,215. The The Glendronach 40 Years Old Brown-Forman Germany (43.9% ABV, 0.7 L) will also be offered at €7,135. Both are rare additions for serious collectors seeking the finest expressions of Highland single malt.
