Loch Lomond launches Triple Oak, Oloroso and Peated Rioja

Loch Lomond Whiskies has expanded its innovative single malt range, bringing the celebrated Loch Lomond The Original: Triple Oak and its two new companions, Loch Lomond Oloroso: Sherry Cask and Loch Lomond Peated: Rioja Cask , to the Austrian market via Salud Spirits AT. This trio, launched originally in Germany at the end of 2025, highlights the distillery's mastery of flavor innovation through its distinctive straight-neck and traditional swan-neck stills combined with diverse cask maturation techniques.

Design & Presentation

All three expressions are bottled at 40% ABV and presented in high-quality packaging featuring illustrations of Loch Lomond in striking cobalt blue, burgundy, and mauve tones. The redesigned packaging of Loch Lomond The Original: Triple Oak in particular emphasizes the integral role of cask maturation in its signature profile, maintaining an elegant balance of aesthetics and functionality.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Loch Lomond The Original: Triple Oak matures in three types of American oak casks—first-fill, refill, and re-charred—uniting distillates from both still types to deliver fruit, honey, and gentle smoke. The Loch Lomond Oloroso: Sherry Cask is finished for six months in certified Oloroso sherry casks, lending aromas of vanilla, raisins, and brown sugar. Meanwhile, Loch Lomond Peated: Rioja Cask showcases maturation in Rioja wine casks, producing notes of honey, peach, pear, dark chocolate, and elegant smokiness.
