The Glenfarclas distillery has unveiled its Autumn 2025 Collection from the prestigious Family Casks series, featuring three single cask releases from vintages 2010, 2009, and 2002. These expressions highlight Glenfarclas’ signature sherry cask maturation, with the 2010 and 2009 vintages matured in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts, while the 2002 vintage offers a unique character from a 4th Fill Sherry Hogshead. This collection demonstrates the distillery’s dedication to delivering rare, cask-strength single malts exclusive to their historic warehouses.

Each whisky is presented in a premium wooden box, underscoring the rarity and craftsmanship of the Family Casks series. These elegant wooden cases enhance the collector's appeal and reflect Glenfarclas’ commitment to quality in every aspect of the bottling.
Maturation & Flavor Profile
The 2010 and 2009 vintages benefit from maturation in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts, imparting rich sherry influence and depth. In contrast, the 2002 vintage draws its character predominantly from the liquid itself, having been matured in a 4th Fill Sherry Hogshead, offering a refined and distinct interpretation of Glenfarclas whisky. All three are bottled at robust cask strengths—59.2%, 60.3%, and 58.9% ABV respectively—preserving the full intensity of their maturation.

The Autumn 2025 Family Casks include Glenfarclas 2010 Family Casks Vintage - Autumn 2025 Cask Nr.531 , Glenfarclas 2009 Family Casks Vintage - Autumn 2025 Cask Nr.1118 , and Glenfarclas 2002 Family Casks Vintage - Autumn 2025 Cask Nr.88 . Each expression is released in limited numbers, available now through specialty stores in Germany. Pricing details have not been disclosed.
