Chichibu Jurojin: The Final Chapter of the 7even Gods of Fortune Series
Salud Spirits unveils the last exclusive bottling in the revered Japanese whisky collection
Salud Spirits proudly presents Jurojin, the seventh and final release in the acclaimed 7even Gods of Fortune series, marking the end of a whisky journey that began in 2022. Distilled at Japan’s renowned Chichibu Distillery in 2016 and bottled in 2025, this single cask, limited edition whisky concludes the series with just 157 bottles available worldwide. Jurojin, named after the Japanese deity of longevity and wisdom, will be available through selected retailers in Austria starting late June.
A Vision in Digital Art: The WARBB Collaboration
The design of Jurojin is a true visual experience. In collaboration with digital artist WARBB (Robbin Snijders), the bottle showcases colorful and organic artwork inspired by the mystical character of the deity. WARBB’s vision brings each release to life:
“I want the proud owner of this bottle to immerse themselves in a world I created, the world of WARBB.”
Aged to Perfection: First-Fill Bourbon Cask Maturation
Distilled in 2016 and matured for 8 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask (#5726), this single malt is bottled at a robust 63.3% ABV. The maturation promises depth and complexity, with the cask imparting classic notes of oak, vanilla, and subtle spice, true to the Chichibu style and its dedication to quality craftsmanship.
Ichiro Akuto’s Signature Selection
This series was made possible through a close collaboration with Ichiro Akuto, Master Blender at Chichibu and one of Japan’s most influential whisky figures. Each edition was personally selected by Akuto for Salud Spirits’ exclusive release in Austria and the Netherlands.
Adding to the excitement, each bottle includes a surprise goodie—still under wraps—but guaranteed to be a collector’s delight.
As the 7even Gods of Fortune series concludes, a celebration of flavor, storytelling, and the artistry of whisky. Jurojin marks a fitting finale to a remarkable journey, offering a rare chance to own a piece of Japanese whisky mythology.
