Ballindalloch Distillery introduces two notable new expressions at the upcoming “The Village” whisky fair in Nuremberg (February 7–8, 2026). Among these are the Ballindalloch 8 Years Old 2017 Single Bourbon Cask Cask Nr.451 and the limited edition Ballindalloch Distillery 2017 Sherry Vintage Release PX . These releases showcase the distillery’s finesse in crafting both bourbon-cask and sherry-matured single malts, appealing to collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.
Maturation & Flavor Profile
The Ballindalloch 8 Years Old 2017 Single Bourbon Cask Cask Nr.451 is an 8-year-old single malt matured exclusively in a Bourbon cask, delivering the distillery’s signature creamy, fruity character. In contrast, the Ballindalloch Distillery 2017 Sherry Vintage Release PX is a 2017 vintage matured in two PX Sherry Butts, which imparts a deep mahogany hue and rich flavor complexity.

Release & Availability
The Ballindalloch Distillery 2017 Sherry Vintage Release PX is strictly limited to 70 bottles, underscoring its exclusivity. After its debut, the Ballindalloch 8 Years Old 2017 Single Bourbon Cask Cask Nr.451 will be available through specialist retailers. Both bottles will be featured at the Prineus stand during the fair and will subsequently be obtainable through Spiritory.
