Inside is the signature Balvenie, matured for at least 12 years in American ex bourbon casks and then finished for 8 to 9 months in first fill Oloroso sherry casks. On the nose, sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry meet hints of honey and vanilla, while the palate stays smooth and gentle with nutty sweetness, cinnamon and a well balanced sherry note. With its limited availability and striking tube, it is an ideal choice for gifting at 40 percent ABV.
