Description
Crystal clear in the glass. Elegant, herbal, and powerful at 53% ABV – Fleur Bleue is a white absinthe from Québec, inspired by 19th-century recipes from the Swiss Jura. Distilled from Artemisia absinthium, fennel, green anise and eleven other botanicals. No coloring, no sugar – pure tradition, precisely crafted.
Artemisia is cultivated locally in Québec’s Eastern Townships – where the soil gives herbs remarkable depth. In true Blanche style, this absinthe reveals subtle bitterness, fine spice and floral lift. On the nose: sweet fennel, dried herbs, anise and a touch of citrus. The palate is smooth and airy, with hints of mint, white flowers and peppery greens. The finish is dry, cool and lingering.
Fleur Bleue is the white companion to the award-winning Joual Vert, and winner of Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Its name, “the blue flower,” refers to the romantic ideal of longing, spirit and transformation – a true echo of absinthe culture.
Serve neat, louched with ice-cold water at a 1:3 to 1:5 ratio. The louche forms gently, releasing layers of aroma. Perfect as a digestif – focused, clear, and free of cliché. A Canadian absinthe with a European soul – and a wormwood heart.
