The Hearach - Swiss Single Cask: The first single cask bottling from the Isle of Harris Distillery for Switzerland

A milestone for whisky lovers in Switzerland: Orakei Ltd proudly presents “The Hearach - Swiss Single Cask”. This limited edition single cask bottling from the Isle of Harris Distillery was created especially for the Swiss market and comprises just 249 bottles.

The association between Orakei Ltd and the Isle of Harris Distillery began over eight years ago with the iconic Harris Gin. The first single malt whisky, The Hearach, followed in 2023.

The launch of “The Hearach Oloroso” in the fall set new standards, but the premiere of the “Swiss Single Cask” takes this partnership to a new level.

The whisky, matured in first-fill ex-Buffalo Trace casks, impresses with a subtle peat note that is typical of Harris.

With a cask strength of 60.7% vol. it is presented in the characteristic “The Hearach” bottle. The label with the cask-inspired circle design is an exclusive detail of bottling #1612.

“The Hearach - Swiss Single Cask” was officially unveiled in Zurich on November 22 and 23, 2024. It is now available from selected specialist retailers and online at www.harris-distillery.ch/de - a rare opportunity for whisky connoisseurs to bring a piece of Harris home.
