Simple Sample surprises whisky lovers with a new, limited edition bottling: Secret Dark Islay, a 14-year-old Islay whisky matured in a 1st Fill Moscatel Sherry Cask.

This exceptional bottling is now available to pre-order and will be delivered from January 15, 2025.

With only 107 bottles bottled at cask strength of 57.4% vol., the Secret Dark Islay promises an exclusive taste experience. Simple Sample remains true to its principles: the whisky is bottled uncolored and not chill-filtered. Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet, smoky aromas of roasted almonds, dark berries and roasted aromas, complemented by a slight bacon note.

Taste: A fruity mix of cherries and plums meets intense peat smoke and delicate fudge.

Finish: Long, sweet and accompanied by smoke, with notes of apricots and peaches.
