One Cask at a Time Launches Six Single Cask Malt Whiskies

Introduction & Overview

One Cask at a Time has launched its debut collection of six single cask malt whiskies, showcasing exceptional quality and cask strength bottlings. The collection is divided into three series—Chronograph, Pendulum, and Grandfather—which celebrate time’s transformative role in whisky maturation. Each individual bottle offers a unique story accessible via the innovative “Bottle Passport” feature, allowing drinkers to unlock detailed tasting notes and cask history by tapping the bottle neck with a smartphone. This fresh independent bottler’s approach merges tradition with modern technology, appealing to whisky enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Design & Presentation

Each whisky bottle includes a contactless icon on the neck, enabling instant access to an interactive digital experience. This “Bottle Passport” verifies authenticity and invites owners to explore the whisky’s full backstory along with expert notes. The packaging reflects a premium, collector-focused approach that emphasizes the moment captured by each single cask release.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The six whiskies span vintages from 1990 to 2012, all bottled at cask strength to preserve their distinctive character. Highlights include the Ben Nevis 2012, pale straw with green highlights, offering a clean nose of pear, caramel, and subtle wood, with a smooth earthy finish. The Glentauchers 2009 presents estery aromas of bubble gum, pear drops, and white grapes, balanced by citric acidity and a warming fruit pastille finish. These drams honor the art of whisky making, demonstrating how time unlocks their unique qualities.

Each cask is hand-selected to represent a precise moment in whisky’s maturation journey.
