East London Liquor Co Returns with New Blended Whisky

East London Liquor Co Returns with New Blended Whisky
Introduction & Overview
The East London Liquor Co marks its return with East London Liquor Co its first release in three years and a significant milestone following a period of insolvency and recovery. The new blended whisky is the result of collaboration with John Glaser, founder of Compass Box, showcasing a blend of two unpeated Scottish single malts, an East London malt, and a distinct East London rye. This combination delivers a clear yet structured base with funk, fruit, and a spicy finish, reflecting both tradition and modern creativity.
Design & Presentation
East London Liquor Co has relocated its headquarters to London Fields, Hackney, where the site also houses a dedicated lab for product development and a blending room for consumers and industry professionals. This innovative environment underscores the brand’s commitment to education and experimentation in whisky craftsmanship.
Maturation & Flavor Profile
The whisky combines single malt and rye components to build complexity. Two unpeated Scottish single malts form the smooth and structured backbone, while the East London malt adds fruity and funky character. The blend is finished by a spicy rye whisky from a local partner, contributing lasting warmth on the palate.
Release & Availability
Priced at £42 (just under €50), East London Liquor Co is available through the East London Liquor Co webshop and targets both domestic and export markets. Distribution partnerships extend to the USA with IND and to Europe via Escalon Partners, ensuring broad availability.
